Your safety is the foundation of everything we build. thirdspace is designed to get you outside with your friends, and we take that responsibility seriously. Every feature we ship goes through one filter: does this keep our users safe?

We know that meeting up in real life requires trust. That is why we have built privacy and safety into the core of how thirdspace works, not as an afterthought.

How we keep you safe

Hidden location by default

Your location is never visible to anyone unless you both agree to a sidequest. No passive tracking, no background location sharing. When the sidequest ends, location sharing stops immediately.

2 minute opt in window

Nobody can show up uninvited. Both people have to actively choose to join a sidequest before any location is shared. You always have the choice to say no.

In app reporting

You can report any user or content directly in the app. Every report is reviewed by our team and we take action quickly. Severe violations result in immediate account removal.

No data selling

We do not sell your data. We do not share your phone number, location history, or personal information with third parties. Your data stays between you and thirdspace.

Account controls

You can block users, delete your account, and manage your privacy settings at any time. You are always in control of your experience on thirdspace.

Age requirement

thirdspace is for users 18 and older. If we discover an account belongs to someone under 18, it is removed immediately.

Tips for staying safe

  • Meet in public places, especially with people you are still getting to know.

  • Tell a friend or family member where you are heading.

  • Trust your instincts. If something feels off, leave the sidequest.

  • Never feel pressured to meet up or share personal information.

  • Report anything that makes you uncomfortable. We review every report.
