Community Guidelines

The Short Version

thirdspace exists to get you and your friends outside, doing things together in real life. These guidelines exist to keep it that way: safe, fun, and real. If you wouldn't do it in front of your friends, don't do it here.

Be Real, Be Respectful

• Treat every user with respect. No harassment, bullying, hate speech, threats, or intimidation of any kind.
• No discrimination based on race, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, religion, disability, or any other protected characteristic.
• Keep conversations and interactions positive. If someone declines a sidequest, respect that.

Safety First

• Your location stays hidden until someone accepts a sidequest. Never share someone else's location without their consent.
• Meet in public places, especially with people you don't know well yet.
• If something feels off, trust your instincts. You can always leave a sidequest.
• Never pressure anyone to meet up, share personal information, or do anything they're uncomfortable with.
• Do not use thirdspace to stalk, follow, or track anyone.

Keep It Clean

• No explicit, sexual, or violent content in photos, sidequests, or messages.
• No spam, scams, or misleading content.
• No promotion of illegal activities, drugs, or dangerous behavior.
• Don't impersonate other people or create fake accounts.

Photos & Content

• Only post photos you have permission to share. If someone is in your pic, make sure they're cool with it.
• No photos of minors without parental consent.
• Keep photos authentic. This isn't about curated content, it's about real moments.

Age Requirement

You must be at least 18 years old to use thirdspace. If we discover an account belongs to someone under 18, it will be removed immediately.

Reporting & Enforcement

• If you see something that violates these guidelines, report it through the app. We review every report.
• Violations may result in warnings, temporary suspensions, or permanent account removal depending on severity.
• Severe violations (threats, harassment, illegal activity) will result in immediate removal and may be reported to law enforcement.
• We reserve the right to remove any content or account at our discretion.

The Bottom Line

thirdspace is built for people who want to stop scrolling and start showing up. Be the kind of person your friends actually want to go on a sidequest with. If everyone does that, we're good.
